The 10th edition of EduTraC Oman, the Sultanate of Oman’s leading higher education, training, and career expo, was held from October 22-24, 2023, at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre. The show was officially inaugurated by Prof Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqi, Minister of Oman’s Higher Education, Research, and Innovation (MOHERI).

EduTraC Oman is held annually in Muscat, Oman. The event is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors, including students, parents, professionals, and government officials. It will feature a wide range of exhibitors from local and international universities, colleges, training institutes, and employers. Visitors to EduTraC Oman 2023 had the opportunity to:

• Learn about the latest educational and training programs available.

• Meet representatives from universities and colleges to discuss their admission requirements and scholarship opportunities.

• Attend workshops and seminars on topics such as career planning, job search skills, and entrepreneurship.

• Network with employers and explore job opportunities.

Commenting on the event, Salim Omar al Hashmi, Chairman at Al Nimr Expo, said: “EduTraC Oman plays a vital role in promoting the Sultanate of Oman’s education and training sector. It provides a unique platform for students, parents, professionals, and employers to come together and explore the various opportunities available. We were excited to host the 10th edition of the event and welcoming visitors from all over the country.”

EduTraC Oman 2023 was organised by Al Nimr Expo, one of Oman’s leading trade exhibition and conference organisers. The event was supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research & Innovation, the Ministry of Education – Career Guidance & Student Counseling Center, and other leading organisations in the Sultanate of Oman.
