Zubair Automotive Group, the flagship enterprise of the Zubair Corporation – one of Oman’s biggest and most diversified business houses – commenced operations in 1973 at the outset of the Sultanate’s modern renaissance. Its humble beginnings as a small importer of cars paved the way for its eventual growth into one of the country’s most prestigious multi-franchise automotive distributors.

Today, the Zubair Automotive Group represents some of the most recognisable global automotive brands in Oman. These brands – ranging from saloon cars and 4-wheel-drive pickups to luxury SUVs and high performance sports marques – reflect the varied tastes of Omani customers. Adding to the extensive Zubair Automotive Group product portfolio is a wide choice of commercial vehicles, such as buses, trucks, and transport carriers, together with other construction-related vehicles and equipment from such globally renowned brands as Fuso, Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Bobcat, Hi-Force, Kennedy, Ingersoll Rand, Ferrari crane (HYVA), Putzmeister, Liebherr, Jungheinrich and KOBELCO.

Marketing these brands are a number of Zubair subsidiaries, including General Automotive Company, Dhofar Automotive, International Heavy Equipment (IHE), Interparts, and Sayarti – each boasting its own distinct business philosophy and customer focus.

Over the years, the Group’s marketing and after-sales operations have evolved into a formidable nationwide enterprise that caters to all of the major markets around the Sultanate. A network of 29 showrooms, 22 service centres and 29 parts outlets provides leading edge services to customers and the robust assurance that comes with the ownership of some of the world’s best known automotive brands.

As an integrated provider of automotive solutions, the Group also oversees the operations of the Zubair Mega Body Shop, a one-stop facility offering fabrication and car-body and paint services; catering to all brands and models. Another Group company is Zubair Leasing and Rental, which delivers best-in-class services together with innovative solutions for vehicle leasing and daily rental.
