Oman, Saudi discuss ways to enhance economic relations

Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the aim of enhancing bilateral cooperation and economic relations between the two sisterly countries.

 

During his visit, he met Eng Khaled bin Abdulaziz al Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah al Khorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Wealth, Faisal bin Fadel al Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning, Eng Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, Chairman of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and Mohammed bin Abdulaziz al Abduljabbar, President of the General Authority for Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and develop bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries in the fields of trade, industry, and investment promotion, facilitating the difficulties facing trade between them, and increasing trade exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in continuation of the efforts of the two countries to enhance trade exchange continuously and create strategic economic partnerships in various fields, and enhance Omani exports to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

The meeting was attended by Faisal bin Turki al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and several officials from both sides.
