A new Omani startup has announced a partnership with Energy Dome of Italy to provide sustainable energy storage solutions to support Oman’s energy transition goals.
Takhzeen, a subsidiary of ONEIC – a publicly listed engineering contractor, has been established to support the nation’s efforts in decarbonizing and achieving Net Zero goals.
Its overseas partner, Energy Dome, based in Italy, has made revolutionary strides in the Energy Storage industry; utilizing a thermodynamic system to create efficient, effective and accessible systems on a global scale.
The landscape of Oman is transforming with growing energy demands and the increased urgency of the renewable energy transition Takhzeen hopes to be a reliable source of sustainable energy to support the stability of the country’s energy system.

Through its strategic partnership with Energy Dome, Takhzeen aims to leverage cutting-edge technology for the benefit of Oman’s sustainable energy transition. The start-up plans to pioneer innovations that will not only address current energy challenges but also lay the foundation for a resilient and environmentally conscious energy ecosystem.
“Takhzeen is set to be a key player in supporting the diversification of the Sultanate’s energy system, improving energy stability as well as its ranking in the Energy Trilemma Index in its navigation to vision 2040,” Eng Al Balushi added.
