1. RFQ Details

• Description: Supply, fabrication, transportation and installation of a complete profile sheet shed at the Air Compressor, Stand Trolleys and Heavy Damage areas of Toyota Service Mega Body Complex – Ghala, Oman, PRMS No. 202611755. The shed will integrate with the existing steel structure and provide weather protection.
• Quantity / Unit: 1 Complete Job, comprising:
  • 4″ dia GI vertical posts, 5.0 m high – 10 Nos
  • 3″ dia GI roof rafters/trusses – 10 Nos
  • 3″ dia GI pipe purlins – 275 RM
  • 2″ dia GI bracing members/stiffeners – 90 RM
  • L-type MS gusset plate connections – 10 Nos
  • PPGI/GI profile roofing sheets – 319 m²
  • Painting & corrosion protection – 365 RM
  • Civil/concrete foundations – 10 Nos
• Technical Specs:
  • Shed Area 1: Approx. 42.0 m × 5.80 m, from Air Compressor area to Stand Trolleys area; maximum height 5.0 m.
  • Shed Area 2: Approx. 12.50 m × 5.80 m, Heavy Damage area; maximum height 5.0 m.
  • Vertical supports: 4″ dia GI pipe, 5 m high, including base plates and anchoring.
  • Rafters/trusses: 3″ dia GI pipe, spanning 5.80 m.
  • Purlins: 3″ dia GI pipe.
  • Bracing/stiffeners: 2″ dia GI pipe.
  • Connections: L-type MS gusset plates, minimum 8 mm thick, plus high-tensile bolts, nuts, washers, anchor bolts, welding electrodes and accessories.
  • Roofing: Approved PPGI/GI Profile Roofing Sheets, minimum 0.45 mm thickness.
  • Roofing fixings: Self-drilling screws with EPDM washers.
  • Include side/end laps, ridge flashing, edge flashing and weatherproof accessories; finished roof must be leak-proof.
  • Corrosion protection: Clean fabricated steel, remove rust/oil/welding residue, apply anti-rust primer where galvanizing is damaged and two coats of approved enamel paint or equivalent protective coating.
  • Foundations: Excavation and concrete foundations using minimum M20 concrete, including reinforcement where required, anchor bolts, base plates, grouting, curing, backfilling and floor reinstatement.
  • Safety barricading: GI pipe posts with yellow/black safety markings.
  • Contractor must submit Shop Drawings, Construction Programme and MAS for client approval before starting work.
  • Completion period specified in SOW: 10 days including mobilization.
  • Maintenance/Warranty period in SOW: 12 months from completion and handover.
  • Contractor is responsible for transportation, accommodation and food for employees.
  • Mandatory site visit: Actual site conditions may differ from the reference drawing.
• Delivery Terms: Complete Supply, Fabrication & Installation at Toyota Service Mega Body Complex, Ghala, Oman. Payment within 30 days after invoice submission, as per SBG norms.
• Deadline: Site Inspection: 31 August 2026 | Bid Closing: 03 September 2026
