1. RFQ Details

• Description: Repair of leaking 2-inch pump/transfer pump header pipeline at BSA, Barka, Oman, including necessary pipes, flanges, fittings and associated works. PRMS No. 202610830. The attached SOW describes the work as one complete repair job.
• Quantity / Unit: 1 Complete Job / 1 No.
• Technical Specs:
  • Pipeline size: 2 inch
  • Material requested in email: Stainless Steel SS304 or SS316
  • Scope: Locate/repair pipeline leakage and provide necessary flanges, pipes, fittings and associated materials, complete.
  • Important discrepancy: The email requests SS304 or SS316, while the attached SOW specifically states 2″ GI pipe line. Material must therefore be clarified during the mandatory site inspection before quotation.
  • Contractor must include any modifications required to existing M&E services and protect existing plumbing, electrical, telephone and computer services during execution.
  • Municipal approvals, including necessary drawings where applicable, are under contractor scope.
  • Serviceable removed materials must be handed over to SBG’s maintenance store at Al-Amarat/Wadi Kabir.
  • Contractor must submit Shop Drawings/MAS for client approval before commencement.
  • Disposal of debris to an approved municipal dumping yard is contractor’s responsibility.
  • Material quality is subject to client/engineer approval.
  • Quotation must specify unit prices for activities, material brands/quantities, delivery/execution terms and warranty.
  • Food, accommodation and transportation: Contractor’s scope
  • Payment: Within 30 days after invoice submission (SBG norms)
  • Completion period, maintenance period, retention, penalty and insurance values are blank in the attached SOW and therefore not provided.
• Delivery Terms: Complete Supply & Repair/Installation at BSA, Barka, Sultanate of Oman.
