Bin Omeir Group of Companies is one of the oldest and most reputable business houses in the Sultanate of Oman. Established in the mid-1960s by Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed Bin Omeir Al Hinai, the group initially focused on real estate. Over the years, it has expanded its reach, adding diverse businesses under its umbrella. Today, the group employs over 300 people and continues to contribute significantly to Oman’s rapidly growing economy.

Located in Ruwi, the traditional financial heart of Oman, our head office reflects the Omani trading legacy. It is a symbol of the authenticity and entrepreneurial spirit of the Omani people.

The Company History: A Legacy of Growth

Bin Omeir Group traces its roots to a family business legacy in Zanzibar and was officially established in 1951. The group was founded by Sheikh Ahmad Mohammed Bin Omeir Al Hinai, who was also the former chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also the founder of AlGhorfa Magazine, which has become a key publication in Oman.

In its early years, the company focused on trading medical equipment, real estate investments, and corporate representation. It introduced several international brands, including Hoover and JVC, to the local market in Oman.
