1. RFQ Details

Description: Carry out fabrication works at Toyota Service & Car Wash, Wattayah, including fabrication and installation of additional angle iron supports for granite wash basin counters and replacement of the wastewater tank cover structure, as detailed in the attached Scope of Work.

Quantity / Unit:

• Additional Angle Iron Supports for Granite Wash Basin Counter – 5 Nos
• Replacement of Waste Water Tank Cover Structure – 1 Job

Technical Specs:

Scope Item 1 – Additional Angle Iron Supports (5 Nos):

• Supply, fabricate, and install MS angle iron supports (40 × 40 × 5 mm).
• Support size: 600 × 600 mm.
• Install beneath existing granite wash basin counters at intervals not exceeding 1 meter.
• Securely anchor supports to wall/floor structure.
• Apply:
  • One coat anti-rust primer.
  • Two coats enamel paint.
• Scope includes all materials, fasteners, labor, tools, and consumables.

Scope Item 2 – Waste Water Tank Cover Replacement (1 Job):

• Remove and dispose of existing corroded wastewater tank cover, frame, and supports.
• Opening size approximately 2.15 m × 2.15 m.
• Inspect and strengthen existing tank edges where required.
• Design, fabricate, and install a new heavy-duty structural steel frame.
• Divide opening into four independently operable covers.
• Covers to be fabricated using heavy-duty MS chequered plate with structural reinforcement.
• Include heavy-duty hinges, recessed lifting handles, and locking arrangements.
• Structure shall safely withstand vehicle loads without excessive deflection.
• Corrosion protection by:
  • Hot-dip galvanizing, or
  • Zinc-rich primer with epoxy finish.
• Finished level shall match surrounding floor.
• Carry out testing for operation, alignment, safety, and structural integrity before handover.
